Terms and Conditions

These terms and condtions apply to all bookings with Sky and Snow Adventures Company.

Quotations and Booking Procedure

Once you receive your Customized quotation with confirmation number, we will hold open this provisional booking for 3 working days, Quotations will be automatically cancelled after 3 days unless payment has been received,or written agreement for extension has been confirmed from our UK office. A confirmation Invoice and paperwork will only be sent hen we have received a deposit ot full payment and signed terms and conditions form. Confirmation invoice will be sent out 2 days after receiving payment. You will automatically received confirmation by e-mail on booking.


Deposits

On all our courses or holidays we require £200 per person plus an insurance permium.Deposits can be made by credit/debit card, bank transfer and cheque. Cheques please made payable to skyandsnow adventures co. Deposit must be received within 3 days on receiving your online quotation or by telephone. Failure to do so mean we may offer the reservation to other enquiries. Upon receiving payment we will then book up your course, flights, etc and start your holiday arrangements.You will then receive confirmation by e-mail and through the post with all your hoildays arrangements,invoices and flight tickets( where applicable).


Remaining Payments

Must be settled at least 8 weeks prior to the departure date of your holiday. This maybe setled by cheque, all major credit/cards(will incur a 3% charge) and bank transfer. On late bookings full payment must be made.


Insurance

With skydiving, insurance will be included with course fees. With Tandem jumps you will have to a personal indemity form where you accept that this a high risk sport and responsibility is yours, at the time of booking travel insurance highly recommended. Skiing clients must have the relevant insurance and make sure you are fully covered for your trip. It is your responsibility to check th details of insurance and get fully covered for your trip, even if you have booked through SkyandSnow Adventures, please check as we book through a 3rd party insurance broker.


Cancellations and changes by us

Very occasionally it may be necessary to cancel a confirmed holiday. We must reserve the right to do so. If so you will recive a full refund,however we will not cancel within 8 weeks prior to departure unless you have failed to make payment in full and on time. But SkyandSnow Adventures will not be liable to refund you for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of the booking, eg car hire, flights.It may be also necessary to make a significant change.A significant change is one made before departure and after you have received your confirmation . It involves a change of accommodation area or resort for the whole or a significant part of your holiday, but try to localise everything. If it is necessary to make a significant change before departure will advise you as soon as it’s practical.If there is no time we ill then offer you.

  1. to accept the change in new holiday arrangements.
  2. Cancelling your holiday to receive a full refund in respect of your holiday cost and insurance.
  3. An alternative holiday/ placing/acommodation type or date.

We try to book our holidays far in advance so therefore cutting down the risk of makings any changes to your holiday, but this is rare!! Compensation will be paid according to the diffrence to hotel rates, and you will be refuned if need be or be upgraded for free.

If it is necessary to notify you of a significant change or less before departure,we will in addition we pay you compensation set out in the scale below. No compensation is payable if we notify you of any change more than 10 weeks prior to departure. We cannot be responsible for any costs and expenses you incur as a result of change.No compensation is liable for minor changes which do entitle you to cancel or change to another company.

  • More than 56 days: 0
  • 56-29 days: £30
  • 28-14 days: £50
  • Less than 14 days: £70

Cancellations

In case you make a cancellation, the following costs will be incurred by you.

  1. Over 8 weeks prior to departure- Loss of deposit or a charge of 30% of the total holiday cost including insurance premiums, equipment hire( skydiving or ski), whichever is greater.
  2. 8-6 weeks prior to departure- A charge of 50% of the total cost including insurance premiums and equipment hire.
  3. 6-2 weeks prior to departure – A charge of 80% of the total holiday cost
  4. Under 2 weeks- A charge of 100% of total holidy cost.

Group leaders must take full responsibility for any cancellation, amendments and changes made. Depending on the reasons for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges under the terms of your insurance policy.

Cancellation percentages are expressed in the terms of the total tour price for that person.

Terms of Cancellation - All cancellations must be made in writing and by post to our london office (address as on website), and backed up by a telephone call or e-mail to info@skyandsnowadventures.com to inform us of your intent to cancel. Any resultant losses or refunds will be calculated from the date shown on the e-mail and letter. If by letter the date will be taken from the letter, provided the stamp-mark on the envelope is within 2 days of the date of the letter. 


Changes made by you

You can make changes to your proposed itinerary at any time prior to your booking. After booking has been made we will do our very best to make the alterations, provided we receive a written request. If we can make a change then you will be provided with a quote for any additional costs plus our administrative fee of £30 per person. This fee is due for all changes and by the way of example this will include: name change, liftpasses, equipment hire, date change, flight change. The price of your new holiday arrangements will be based on the prices that apply on the day you ask for the change. These prices may not be the same as when you booked the holiday. Please note that some airlines tickets cannot be changed and some will incur considerable cost.


Responsibility

SkyandSnow Adventures cannot accept responsibility for any injury caused inside or outside of it's holiday program or for Skydiving, Skiing, Snowboarding or any activity related injuries howsoever caused. SkyandSnow Adventures acceptsno liabality for any accident, loss, or suffering arising for any reason. Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise the hazards involved in these kinds of activities, including injury, disease, loss of property, inconvenience and discomfort. SkyandSnow Adventures regrets they cannot accept liability, make any refunds or pay and compensation where the performance or prompt performance of their contractural obligations are prevented or affected for any reason of circumstances amounting to 'Force Majeure'. Circumstances amounting to 'Force Majeure' include any events which they, or the supplier of the service in question, could not, even with all due care, foresee or forestall such as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, acts of God, adverse weather conditions & all smaller events. * Nothing in these terms seeks to exclude our liability for death or personal injury causec by our negligence.


Pricing

All course prices are fixed rates and are in English pounds.  Accommodation, ski hire and passes prices are based on exchange rates listed in the Uk on August 24th by XE.com.

Before Confirmation

We reserve the right to alter any quoted prices at any time prior to accepting booking. You will be notified of the correct up to date prices before booking is accepted.

After Confirmation

We will offer the price guaranteed on any booking after a confirmation invoice has been issued. However if the itinerary is altered, then an entirely new quote will have to be provided. And you will be liable for the extra charge. If the variation is less than 2% of the cost of the complete holiday these charges will be borne by us.


Passports / Visas

It is your responsibility to make sure you have a valid passport and/or visa and any other necessary papers. We take no responsibility for any clients who are refused entry into any country nor for indicdental costs incurred. Recent legislation requires that the passports are valid for 6 months afer the return date of travel and the airlines may prohibit access unless the rule is observed.


Damages

When you book through us you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be made at the time to ourselves at a rate of cost determined by us, or the third party involved. If you fail to do so then you must indemnify us against any claims subsequently made against us as a result of your actions.


Damage to Equipment

When you hire Skis/snowboards and Parachuting equipment from us or any other supplier then you accept responsibility for any damage or loss by you or any 3rd party.This will include theft whilst equipment is in your care. In the event of any such damage or loss then full payment must be made to SkyandSnow Adventures.


Injury and risk

  1. Skydiving/ Skiing/ Snowboarding are exhilarating but dangerous sports, you must take full reponsibility of your own actions.
  2. You have chosen SkyandSnow Adventures because we offer you the opportunity to experience the thrill of extreme sports in an atmosphere that recognises your wish the have the freedom of choice and action.
  3. SkyandSnow Adventures does accpet any liability.
  4. While we would not deliberately invite you to take risks that we would take ourseles we will not be responsible for your decision to take such risks, nor will we take responsibilty to advise you against taking risks which we might not choose to take ourselves.
