Le Marche, Italy

Situated in Central Italy on the Adriatic Sea side, the ‘Le Marche’ region is spectacular. The Skydiving centre situated only 2 minutes away from the beach, near the small seaside town of ‘Porto san Giorgio’. Famous for it precious flat blue seas, a soft velvet beach, long, tree-lined avenues, an avant-garde tourist port, winner of the E.E.C blue flag award, surrounded by a peaceful green oasis.

Within 50km the land rises from sea level to 2478m at Mount Vettore. This rugged yet beautiful mountain chain rises in the heart of Le Marche and reaches Mt. Vettore. It is a territory of sublime nature, history and old culture. In 1993 the Monti Sibillini National Park was born to save this unique environment.

The park stretches over 70,000 hectares and is categorized as a "Park for everybody" where it is possible to see wolves, golden eagles, peregrine falcons etc.

This zone is spectacular and off all the main tourist routes, and you will have the advantage of seeing all this as you take your scenic flight to 12.500ft, where you will jump into the blue skies of this truly breathtaking region. As you know Italy is famous for its fine wine, great food and petit cafes. Fermo is the largest city nearby which only 5km away, there you will also find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs.

A wide range of other activities are available, mountain biking, hiking, water sports, diving, health clubs plus much more.

There is a number of hotels, and small cosy Italian Bed Breakfasts to choose from, there also Camping (free) and bunkhouse facilities on the Drop zone, which is perfectly suitable at 5euros a night. It is great value for money, all being arranged for you.

Getting There

Direct flights running with Ryanair everyday from London stansted and Liverpool to Ancona (60km from resort), and Pescara (100Km). From either location we then take the scenic coastal route by car to the Drop zone. Once there we get settled and commence the course.
