Empuriabrava, Spain

 

Empuriabrava is a unique coastal town of the Alt Emporda region in the far North East of Spain and forms part of the municipality of Castelló d'Empuries in the province of Girona.

Empuriabrava is unique because much of its beautiful residential area is built on and around a system of canals. The majority of these residencies have a mooring at the bottom of the garden making Empuriabrava the largest residential marina in Europe, if not the world!! It is a perfect holiday destination,  enjoy the beautiful beach, the many shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, nightlife and of course skydiving.

It is also  the biggest skydiving centre in the Europe and is renowned for it's beautiful scenery over the Pyrennes and the Bay of Roses.

Dropzone

The drop zone is a fully operational skydiving facility open 365 days of the year.  It is located on the edge of town with only 5 minutes drive to the beach and close to all restaurants, bars and supermarkets.

Getting There

 

Getting to Empuria could not be easier!! Most of the major budget airlines run services into Girona and Barcelona from a variety of locations in the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Once at your location there are plenty of different ways of getting to the drop zone. Train services running directly out of barcelona, direct coaches and many hire car companies offering super deals. Car hire is the best advice giving you the freedom to see this beautiful area and make the most of your holiday..
